I’m not talking about microwaving food either. That’s not cooking. I mean cooking from scratch and cooking on a stove top or oven. My dad and mom both taught me how to cook since I was in high school. A few months ago, I prepared a simple but delicious meal for the whole family. I’m almost out of the beginner stage of cooking. I believe everybody should know how to cook.
Everybody should learn to cook. I notice that ladies’ excuse for not cooking is because they don’t have enough time. Seriously, but you have enough time to go shopping and clubbing 24/7? I can understand if you’re a full-time college student who also has a part-time job. Stop with the excuses ladies.
One reason is because it’s obviously healthier to cook your own food. You know what is going into your body if you’re cooking from scratch. Most if not all of fast food is genetically modified and I’m sure most Americans have eaten something that is genetically modified.
Another reason is guys love it. Sure guys are cooking nowadays, but it’s still nice too cook for your man especially if it’s a potential life partner. Sometimes it does not have to just for your man. It could be for friends. If you end up being good at cooking, you might get brownie points when you bring your own food to a party or family event and everyone will go on about how good of a cook you are.
Cooking can be so much fun. It can be stressful at first because you might add too much salt, burn the chicken or under cook the pasta, but practice makes perfect and all the mistakes you make will pay off. Grab your apron and start cooking!
